Car insurance, shopped across carriers for you

Massachusetts requires auto insurance, but the state minimums rarely protect you enough. We compare carriers, explain the limits that actually matter, and help when you have a claim.

What an auto policy can include

  • Bodily injury & property damage

Pays for injuries and damage you cause to others. Massachusetts sets minimums; we usually recommend higher limits.

  • Personal injury protection (PIP)

Required in Massachusetts. Helps pay medical bills and lost wages for you and your passengers, whoever's at fault.

  • Uninsured & underinsured auto

Protects you when the other driver has no insurance or not enough of it.

  • Collision

Repairs your car after an accident with another vehicle or object, minus your deductible.

  • Comprehensive

Covers theft, vandalism, fallen trees, hail, and hitting a deer.

  • Rental & towing

Optional add-ons that keep you moving while your car is in the shop.

Coverage varies by carrier and policy. We'll walk you through exactly what yours includes.

How we quote your auto insurance

Tell us about your drivers, vehicles, and current coverage. We quote the same coverage with several carriers so you can compare prices side by side, then point out where a higher limit or a different deductible changes the picture.

What affects your price

Your driving record, the cars you drive and how far, your garaging address, and your coverage choices all matter. So does the carrier: each one weighs these factors differently, which is why the same driver can see very different quotes.

Why shop it with us

When your renewal jumps, we shop it again. When you have a claim, you call us first and we help you through it. And if you bundle auto with your home or condo policy, we compare bundles across carriers, not just within one.

Auto insurance questions

What auto coverage is required in Massachusetts?

Massachusetts requires four compulsory coverages: bodily injury to others, personal injury protection (PIP), bodily injury caused by an uninsured auto, and damage to someone else's property. The minimum limits are low, so most drivers are better protected with higher limits and optional coverages like collision and comprehensive.

Will adding a teen driver double my premium?

It usually raises it, but by how much depends a lot on the carrier. Good-student and driver-training discounts, and which car the teen is rated on, can make a big difference. Shopping several carriers is the best way to keep the increase down.

How do I cancel my Massachusetts plates?

Cancel your registration with the RMV first, online or at a service center, and keep the Registration Cancellation Receipt. Send us a copy and we'll cancel the policy. Don't cancel your insurance before the registration, or the RMV can revoke it.
